I attended the most recent LinuxFest Northwest and was very impressed by the strength of the FOSS community in Bellingham.
There is the Bellingham LUG, C4PIN, the Raspberry Pi Club, and of course LFNW all based in this relatively small city.
Of course there was a bunch of stuff from Seattle too but that is a much larger city.
I wonder how you are able to maintain all these successful communities in the area. Is it difficult? I would like to start and grow some FOSS communities on the East Coast, and I wonder if you have any tips.
